This is the story of the prophet Jonah. God called him to preach in the great city of Ninevah so that those who sinned against God would repent. But Jonah himself needed to repent and a great fish swallowed him. Finally Jonah spoke to the people of Ninevah and when they repented, Jonah learned about the great mercy of God.
